Terms & Conditions

These terms govern all of our sales. Placing an order — signed or unsigned — means you accept them and guarantee payment on that order. We may revise these terms; by continuing to use the site after a change is posted you accept the revised version. The date at the foot of this page shows when it was last changed.

Orders and acceptance

Every order is subject to our acceptance and to the part actually being available. We may decline or cancel an order — including after it is placed — for example where stock has run out, where a listing carried a pricing error, where the part is not legal to sell into your state, where a manufacturer or a carrier will not permit that part to travel to your destination, or where we cannot verify the payment. If we cancel, you are not charged, and anything already taken is refunded.

Pricing

Our price list changes without notice, generally when a vendor sends us updated pricing. We are not responsible for pricing errors, and a posted or advertised price does not bind us to sell at it. Errors are rare; when one affects an order you have placed, we will tell you the correct price and give you the choice to go ahead or cancel before anything is billed or shipped.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Card details are entered on a secure form served by our payment processor and go straight to them; we never see or store your full card number. We also accept Direct Cycle Parts gift cards.

We do not accept checks, money orders or certified checks, and we do not ship COD.

Member pricing

Some customers have member pricing on their account. Member prices are shown only when you are signed in — they are not available at guest checkout and are not applied to an order placed without signing in. If you believe you should be seeing member prices and are not, sign in first and contact us if it still does not show.

Gift cards

Gift cards are sold in fixed amounts, delivered by email, and redeemed at checkout with the card code and its PIN. The balance is applied to your order total and any unused balance stays on the card. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Keep the code and PIN safe: anyone holding them can spend the balance.

Destinations outside the contiguous 48 states

We do not take payment at checkout for Alaska, Hawaii, the US territories, APO/FPO addresses or any international destination. Those orders are submitted as a shipping request, quoted by hand, and paid for afterwards through the link we email you — parts and shipping together. A quote is valid for 14 days from the day we send it. Import duties, destination taxes and customs brokerage are the customer's responsibility, and some parts cannot be exported at all. Fitment, installation and use

Product descriptions, photographs and fitment data are provided as a guide and come in large part from the manufacturers. Confirming that a part fits and suits your motorcycle is the buyer's responsibility — and we will gladly check it with you before you order. Parts should be fitted by someone competent to do the work and in line with the manufacturer's instructions.

We are not responsible for labor or installation costs.

Emissions and street legality

Some parts we sell are not legal for use on public roads in every state, and California in particular restricts emissions-related parts. You are responsible for knowing and following the law where you ride. See our California Emissions Notice before ordering exhaust, tuning or intake parts for a California-registered motorcycle.

Site content

The Direct Cycle Parts name, logo, site design and original text are our property. Manufacturer names, brand names, part numbers and logos belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the parts we sell; their use does not imply any endorsement.

You may use this site to research and buy parts. Please do not scrape it, republish our content, or use it in a way that interferes with other customers.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Direct Cycle Parts is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or of parts bought through it, and our liability on any order is limited to the amount you paid for the part concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, where Direct Cycle Parts is located, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
